Watkin Jones said it has appointed interim Chief Executive Officer Alex Pease to the role on a permanent basis with immediate effect.
The U.K. property developer said Wednesday that Pease joined the company in 2010. He was named chief investment officer in 2021 and joined the board in 2022, and has held the role of interim CEO since July.
The company said Pease led the business through a critical period during which its sector faced significant challenges. Under Pease it successfully sold three non-core private rented sector assets, took action to better align its cost base and made operational progress, Watkin Jones said.
It said Pease will provide updates on these actions and his strategic plan in January alongside its fiscal 2023 results.
