Economic activity in the eurozone contracted in November for the sixth month in a row, albeit at a softer pace than in October, as demand continues to weaken, data from a purchasing managers’ survey showed Thursday.
The HCOB Flash Eurozone Composite PMI Output Index–a gauge of activity in the manufacturing and services sectors–rose to 47.1 from 46.5 in October. The level in October was its lowest level in around three years.
